This forum is for people in the Rochester, NY and surrounding area interested in the worldwide game called Geocaching.
Our goal is to be a portal to bring together geocachers of the Rochester and surrounding areas. We strive to promote respect, quality and integrity in the game. This group also serves as a source of geocaching related news in the area.

| Announcement: New Additions to the GeoRoc Site! |

With 2010 just starting, I thought it would be time to make some changes to the site that people have asked for.
To start with, Sapience Trek has their own forum section to take all your Geocaching related questions. You no longer have to keep one long thread and each question can be its own topic.
Secondly, there is now an Introductions forum. Feel free to use that one to introduce yourself to your fellow cachers. This is a great way to help new cachers learn about others in the community.
Finally, I have done away with the Photo Contest. However, it has been replaced by a separate forum section just for photos. Each month a topic will be started for people to add photos to. Feel free to comment on each others photos and have fun. Each week, I will randomly select a photo and display it up on the front page!
Last but not least, it is time to nominate your favorite caches from 2009. Be sure to check the thread in the General Forum to do so!
